My all time fave....

No joke how can anyone hate THE GRINCH it has to be my favourite Christmas movie EVER! In my family we have this weird tradition that you can only watch the Grinch in December and while putting up the christmas tree. I don't know why we do it but it just makes christmas a little more fun and festive. So therefore yesterday me and the mother went out and got our christmas tree which is always a mission as it has to be perfect for my mum, as she does go a lil crazy with christmas decorations and everything has to be in place. However this year I actually was the one that found the winning tree and it was decorated nicely in our living room while i sat and watched the Grinch with my granddad!

If you have never seen the Grinch then i seriously would watch it. I don't know why it makes me laugh so much but it does and it always leaves me at the end smiling. I love the music, the setting, the costumes and the actors and actresses, and i am also lucky enough to be going to LA in Feb with my media class and will be going on the Universal tour where they have a re make of the set of the Grinch so i am SO excited for that.

Also next week I am finally off to America to go see my family and spend Christmas and New Year's there. I am so excited for snowboarding and skiing which i mentioned in a previous post and cant wait to film it all and make a little mini movie which i will then post on here. It is probably going to be the best holiday ever. So anyway everyone watch The Grinch and get into the christmas spirit :)

Music Video so far....

OK so finally me and my friend have got somewhere with our music video that i spoke about in an earlier post. As we have had to do so much college work we have been struggling to find time where we could edit but now we have most of it done and have shown it to Poppy who we are making it for. She wants us to make a few slight changes and i know it is by no means perfect but i am happy with how it has gone so far. Some parts you will see definitely need tweaking such as the flower not being faded correctly at the end and things like that but hopefully once we have made adjustments it will work well. I am really excited for it to go up on the online magazine site as that will be really amazing to have people look at it from around London.

So here it is so far, so enjoy....

Also another good thing happening this week is that my corporate video that i made for Mill Cottage Farm Experience will be going up on their website this week. I am really proud of that video and cant wait to actually see it on a website :) So once that has been uploaded i will definitely post a link on here!

My review....

Its happened. Its done. There is no going back. I have finally seen Breaking Dawn and i have to say i actually quite enjoyed it and would recommend anyone to go see it. I felt it was very different to the other movies and didn't make me cringe throughout most of it. I though Kristen Stewart played Bella much better than she has done in the previous movies and i was able to put up with her breathiness (as we all know she is an extremely breathy woman). Robbert Pattinson also played his character well as usual but i felt you didn't pay as much attention to him in this movie and that you were more just focussing on Bella the whole time. Taylor Lautner also i thought improved on this movie and wasn't as cringey as he normally is which i thought was nice and made me enjoy the movie more. The movie i have to say was much more gruesome and interesting than the other movies and had a lot of funny moments. The only bad thing i would say about the movie was that in the middle there was a section that instantly reminded me and my friend of Power Rangers which i thought was a bit ridiculous however it made me laugh a lot. I also thought the very last second of the movie was very predictable and has been done in a lot of movies where she ends by opening her eyes. Although it was effective it always seems to scare me and i don't enjoy it but that is just my personal opinion.

So if your interested in an evening out that doesn't cost that much, then i would definitely go see this movie. Also make sure to stay for after the credits as there is an extra scene at the end, which most of the people in the cinema didn't see including half my friends as they all got up and left too soon.

It has to be done....

Yes its true, I shall be going to see Breaking Dawn tomorrow. I just cant resist. The funny thing is i am really not excited for this movie as i have been with the other three. I just think that there hasnt been a big deal made out of this movie like there has been for the others. Or maybe its just i have grown compltely out of my twilight faze. I have to admit i did used to be compltely obsessed and used to stalk the cast all the time on the internet (I know. Its sad.), but now that has changed to a new obsession with something compltely different which some of my best friends are not to happy with but i wont say what it is cause it is unbelievably gay. Anyway, hopefully this movie will be entertaining and will also be a nice thing to do with all my friends and a good evening out. Also once i have seen this movie i will give a full review right here on my thoughts on the movie.

What a fool....

For anyone else that is actually watching X Factor USA you will probably have the same opinion as me. I was so disappointed on the last results show when Astro was in the bottom two as i really think he has now blown his chances by being so horrible and having the worst attitude. All he had to do was suck it up and perform without having a hissy fit and thinking he is better than everyone else. It really annoyed me as i loved him up until that point, i thought he had a really good chance of winning it and i found it amazing that he writes all of his own raps. I just now think that he has lost his chances of winning. I read earlier in a news article that he has apologised for his actions and Simon Cowell has also said that he was very disappointed however he only is 14 and still a child. Still even when i was 14 i would never have done something like that. I just hope he can turn it around somehow as i reckon he could have gone far.

Finally....

Literally have not posted in forever as i have had so so much work to do that i am struggling to find time to update. Anyways i finally managed to hand in a bunch of work on Friday so everything has calmed down a bit so i am able to focus more on blogging!

Last weekend i managed to take a trip to London with my mum to go visit some family friends. It was such a good evening out and i realised just how much better London is than Farnham. First of all we went to have a nice meal at Pizza Express and then went on to the theatre to see the amazing Blood Brothers. It was such a good musical and definitely one of the best i have seen. It's set in Liverpool and is about two twin brothers who were separated at birth, however then go onto meet each other still not knowing that they are related and become best friends. Its got a lot of comedy in it and also a lot of drama. It was really good to go out and do something like this and on my way back home while i was walking through the tube station there was a busker playing his guitar to the song Wonderwall by Oasis. As this is such a well known song the whole of the tube station started to sing along and it was such a good moment and made me so happy. This is another reason why i want to go live in London, as things like this just do not happen where i live.

Anyways, If your ever in London and looking for something to do, or something to see i would really really recommend going to see Blood Brothers. I promise you wont regret it.

Femme Fatale

On Friday night me and my friend Hannah went to go see the amazing Britney Spears on her Femme Fatale tour at the 02 arena in London. I have to say the whole show was a lot better than I thought it was going to be and it was soo much fun. The best song of the show definitely had to be 'I wanna go' literally everyone was jumping up and down and people were invited onto the stage it was crazy. The only downside was that Jedward went on stage and i think pretty much everyone was wondering why??? Me and Hannah had standing tickets for the show and we were fairly close to the front which was good as we could see the whole stage. There was a huge mix of boys and girls but it literally was like a gay bar in there and all of them seemed to be older than us, so in the standing section we were probably the youngest there. The supporting acts were a group made up of two girls called 'Destinee and Paris' and then 'Joe Jonas'. Personally i thought neither of these acts were very good although Joe Jonas was pretty nice to look at. So overall i had a very good evening and hardly spent a penny although there was one scary moment of the night.... When Joe Jonas finished performing the girl standing next to me went into an epileptic fit and was shaking and fell to the floor while her eyes rolled back. After about two seconds of being on the floor she then stood up and she had no idea what happened but then her friends took her out. It was really scary.

Anyway I felt that Britney performed really well and there was always a lot of crazy stuff happening on the stage all the time and i would definitely go see her again. I would absolutely love it if she did a 'Greatest Hits Tour' as i love all her old stuff more than her new stuff, however i had a fun and great evening overall.

X Factor - UK vs. USA

Basically yes I am an X Factor fan and to be honest i am pretty much a fan of most reality TV out there. Anyways i have been watching both the english X factor and the X factor USA and have discovered that X factor USA is a hundreds time better so far. There is way more talent on the American one that they actually couldn't take a lot of decent people through even on their first audition because they don't match the amazing standards of the other contestants.

As an example this girl here auditioned for X factor USA and did not get through on round 1 of auditions whereas i fully believe that if she had auditioned for the UK X factor that she would have got through to at least bootcamp:

Therefore as you can see that yes she is not the best singer but neither are so many people on the UK X factor which is why she most likely would have cried her way through onto the UK X factor.

So far on X factor USA my favourite person so far definitely has to be 'Drew Ryniewicz' I think she is so so good and i am so glad she has made it through to the live shows. I like how she is different and changed the song and made it way better than it was before and she is only 14. So i definitely want her to go far.

Also i have to say that the group 'Intensity' make me laugh so much and i actually enjoy watching them cause they are literally the largest group i have ever seen and there all really young so they most likely think they are amazing and superstars. My only one problem with X Factor USA is the fact that Simon Cowell got to take through 5 girls and not 4 like the rest of the judges as he stupidly made a mistake. I think this is unfair and if the other judges had to choose 4 then he should have been able to as well. Ah well he is the producer of the show so i guess he can do what he wants.
Anyways back to UK X factor i have to say i am following the crowd on this one and loving 'Janet Devlin'. Although i don't think she is that sweet and innocent and i reckon she probably has a bit of a sneaky side to her and that she is acting all sweet as part of an act. Fair enough to her though as the act is working and she will hopefully go onto win the show.

I have to say this has been quite a random post but i i just thought i would talk about X factor as it seems a lot of people are watching it this year.....

The Ultimate Shopping List....

As we have the week off this week I have been incredibly bored and havant had much to do so far, as everything I have planned to do is going on towards the end of the week. So today I decided to make 'The Ultimate Shopping List'. I went through all my favourite shopping places and picked out literally everything I wanted from them and saved all the pictures into a folder on my computer. I found so much stuff that I wanted and in the end I worked out that to buy everything in my folder I would need £1300 :/ Therefore realistically I will never be able to afford all these clothes but I will forever have them in a folder which I can look through and see which items I want most, and then whenever I have a bit of money I can buy something out of the folder.

So below are some off the things out of the folder that I would like to purchase......

All these clothes are from the following websites:

PSA

Right before the summer holidays this year one of my projects at college was to make a 'Public Service Announcement'. I chose to make mine about 'bullying because of they way you look' and I came up with the idea of using paper bags to display what people are bullied for. I really enjoyed making this video and i feel it came out ok considering i did hardly any filming for it.

Currently I have moved on from 'PSA's' and onto 'corporate videos' and i am making a video for 'Mill Cottage Farm Experience' which they are going to use on their website. So once i have completed that i will put up the link for it on here. This weekend i am also making a music video with my friend Daisy for her friend Poppy as she is a singer trying to make it in the music industry, i am really looking forward to filming it as we have got some good ideas and locations so once that is also done i will post it on here as well.

Here is a video that Poppy has posted on her youtube account of her doing a cover of Adele's 'someone like you'. If you follow this link you will also be able to see some of her original songs and other covers as well: www.youtube.com/user/Poppytrevelyan

Movie's this week....

As this blog is supposed to be mainly 'media related' I thought I would talk each week about the movies/television shows that I have watched during the week. This week has been a little dull in watching movies. However I just watched the movie 'Crazy Stupid Love' and like every other 'RomCom' at the moment it was painfully average. Not going to lie I watch a lot of cheesy chic flicks but I just cant seem to stop myself. I think it is probably because of the actors in the movie as they generally consist of a hot guy, however they all seem to follow a very similar story. This movie followed a guy who's wife who he considers his 'Soulmate' asks for a divorce. He then turns into a player but eventually realises his wife is the only one for him. Also of course there is the usual side storyline that connects to the main one this being the daughter of the main guy and then the good looking guy that gets with all the girls ending up falling in love.

So as you can see the movie in my opinion is not a 'must watch' its more of a 'watch if your incredibly bored and cant think of anything else to watch' kind of movie. However i would say that this movie consists of some good actors and actresses, one of them being one of my personal favourite actors 'Ryan Gosling'. Although i can never see him topping a movie like 'The Notebook' which he was just so damn good in and I  can honestly watch that movie a thousand times over. Also in this movie are other good actors such as 'Steve Carell' who is a good funny actor who has been in many comedies his main one probably being '40 year old virgin'. 'Julianne Moore' and 'Emma Stone' are also main parts in this movie and are both good actresses Emma Stone being talked about as being the next Julia Roberts.

All i really want is for there to be another chic flick/RomCom movie like 'Mean Girls' which has to be a top classic movie that everyone around my age will quote forever. However my next movie that is on my list to watch is 'The Shawshank  Redemption'. I have heard from many people that this is a movie every single person has to see, therefore once I have watched it I will be straight on here blogging about it!

H. Height: Hmmmm not really sure i would say i am a fairly average height somewhere around 5"6 maybe a little bit under?

Flesh of the servant, willingly sacrificed. Blood of the enemy, forcibly taken. The Dark Lord shall rise again." Shame that he dies in the end, seems a waste of a quote.

If you would like to read my friend Polly's answers then here is a link to her blog: www.pollybussell.blogspot.com

Finally decided to make a blog!

I have always though about making a blog after reading my friends blogs and decided that as I am so ridiculously bored why not make one now? Another reason I have decided to follow the blogging trend is that I recently went to a University open day at the University of Westminster (which i really want to go to) and as I would like to study film or television production, they like to see that there applicants don't just watch movies and TV but that they also do other creative things so I thought blogging would be the way to go.

Although I am pretty certain this blog will fail and no one will even read it, if any people who don't know me and come on here you may want to see who I am so this is me:

I am the one at the front of the photo which was taken on the snow days at the beginning of the year. Snow makes me so happy and I cant wait for it every year and for the first time EVER I am going snowboarding/skiing at Christmas with my family in Vermont and I am so excited, pretty sure it is going to be the best holiday ever. Me and my brother Sam who is 22 are planning on following my oldest brother Bastie who is 24 around to get some YouTube gold.
